King delivery

Although most remaining Kings were couriered to buyers yesterday (Monday), some still haven’t arrived yet (Tuesday evening), even though we used TNT’s 24 hour delivery service. The delay is obviously due to adverse weather conditions and we hope they will be delivered tomorrow. Please be patient and advise us when they arrive, please.

When they do arrive, carefully check packaging before signing for the parcel. Regardless of our improved packaging, Kings are still arriving with some damage. For insurance purposes it is vital to check the external box has not been dented or damaged in any way. If it has, it must be pointed out to the TNT driver and noted on the acknowledgement document. We cannot claim for any damage on insurance to your King if it hasn't been notified immediately on receipt of the parcel..

Also bear in mind that due to the low temperatures, there is very likely to be condensation on the King when it comes into the warm after spending the day in a cold van. Allow your King to warm up gradually for 24 hours or so before trying to operate.

The King has been primarily designed for DCC systems. Conventional DC controllers are not working was good as they might do with our Kings, leading to slow start-ups, noisy motors, etc. I am very sorry about this. However, one of our distinguished buyers has overcome these problems and we will post his solution in due course.
