GWR 4-4-2's Availability
We will build only 15 of Churchward's GWR 4-4-2's. They will be based on the condition before rebuilding to 4-6-0's in 1912 and from circa 1908 when they started to be fitted with standard long-cone No 1 boilers. So there is a very limited time-frame and only those 4-4-2's listed below qualified to our criteria. In addition 181/183/185/186/188 & 190 were superheated before conversion to 4-6-0's, so there is a further option to be considered. Actually only 10 4-4-2's fit our build criteria, so there will be two of each name and number to meet our builder minimum production run.
5 remain out of a limited edition of 15.
