Current Build - 7MT Britannia & 6MT Clan

There will be three different versions (each with its own sub-versions) of Masterpiece Models 7MT Britannia’s. Two will be ‘time’ related (early BR circa 1951 will be version 1; and later circa late 50’s into the 60’s will be version 2) while the third, a special version of Britannia’s in exhibition, royal or Golden Arrow condition, in other words a ‘buffed-up’ version with many metal parts left polished.

We will only build 96 Britannia in versions 1 and 2; 15 Britannia’s will be ‘specials’ (version 3) and finally 10 Clans will bringing the grand total of this limited edition to 111. In addition, we will build a limited edition of 20 Clans, the first series with lion over wheel on tender, the second series with totem on tender.

Both Britannia ‘time’ version will be built in the condition Britannia’s were at the time (see our general description for each sub-version). However, some Britannia’s had slight visual differences throughout their lives. So the following apply to these specific Britannia’s, regardless of version :-

1. No’s 70025-29 BR1A tenders with larger pick-up domes
2. Nos 70045-54 fitted with speedometers
3. Nos 70004/9/14 lamp brackets reposition to the smokebox door
4. Nos 70004/9/14 with SR extended lamp brackets

The only option for Clans, who were relatively unchanged throughout their lives, will be a choice of lion over wheel or totem on the BR1 tender.
